Sindh Food Minister Makhdoom Mehboob uz Zaman has taken notice of an incident in Mehrabpur in which three members of the same family allegedly died and five others were affected after consuming contaminated food.
The Sindh Food Minister directed the Sindh Food Authority to immediately investigate the incident, stating that the deaths of three family members and the illness of five others is extremely tragic.
Makhdoom Mehboob uz Zaman instructed that a comprehensive inquiry be conducted to determine the actual causes of the incident and identify any possible negligence, while the relevant authorities should immediately contact the affected family and the hospital administration.
He also directed the Sindh Food Authority to collect food samples and send them for laboratory testing.
