The Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) has announced a new graduate assistantship programme aimed at attracting talented students to advanced research and academic projects.
Under the initiative, selected postgraduate students will receive monthly stipends of up to Rs158,000 while contributing to research activities under faculty supervision. The programme is expected to strengthen innovation and research output across various disciplines.
University officials said the assistantships are designed to support academically outstanding students and provide them with valuable experience in research and teaching. Applications are now open, and interested candidates have been encouraged to review eligibility requirements before applying.
