Karachi: The Government of Sindh has announced revised timings for public and private colleges across the province as part of the academic schedule for the new session. The updated timetable applies to all government and private colleges under the School Education and Literacy Department.
According to the revised schedule, morning-shift colleges will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, while Friday classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Evening-shift colleges will function from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, whereas Friday timings will be 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The new timings are part of the provincial government’s broader schedule for educational institutions and are intended to ensure smooth academic operations while maintaining a balanced timetable for students and teaching staff. The revised schedule will be followed by both public and private colleges across Sindh.
Education authorities have directed all colleges to strictly implement the notified timings and ensure that academic activities continue without disruption. Students, parents, and faculty members have been advised to follow the updated schedule from the effective date announced by the department.
