The Sindh government has approved the recruitment of new non-teaching staff in Grades 1 to 4 for schools across the province, in a move aimed at strengthening administrative and support services in government schools.
According to an order issued by the Sindh School Education Department, recruitment powers have been delegated to divisional directors. The appointments will be made through the relevant authorized selection committees in accordance with the government’s approved recruitment policies and rules.
The department has clarified that recruitment will only be carried out against vacant posts included in the approved budget book. Authorities will also be responsible for verifying the eligibility of candidates before finalizing appointments.
The decision is expected to help address shortages of support staff in government schools and improve day-to-day administrative operations. The recruitment process will be conducted by the concerned divisional education authorities under the applicable rules.
