KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan remained around Rs445,500 per tola for 24-karat gold on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, according to market-rate trackers based on Karachi’s bullion market. The 24K rate was reported at around Rs381,090 per 10 grams, while the per-gram price stood at approximately Rs38,109.

For 22-karat gold, the rate was reported at approximately Rs407,455 per tola, while 21-karat gold was around Rs388,938 per tola. The 18-karat gold rate stood near Rs333,375 per tola.

The latest local gold rates come as international gold prices have faced pressure. Spot gold declined on September 15, with Reuters reporting a price of around $4,282.49 per ounce, as stronger expectations of US interest-rate increases, higher Treasury yields and a stronger dollar weighed on the precious metal.

Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by several factors, including the international price of gold, the rupee-dollar exchange rate and local bullion-market conditions. Karachi’s Sarafa Market generally sets the benchmark followed by gold dealers across major Pakistani cities.

The market remains sensitive to global economic developments and geopolitical tensions. Investors and consumers are therefore closely monitoring international bullion prices, currency movements and expectations surrounding US monetary policy.

Today’s reported 24K rates:

  • 1 Tola: Rs445,500
  • 10 Grams: Rs381,090
  • 1 Gram: Rs38,109
  • 22K per Tola: Rs407,455
  • 21K per Tola: Rs388,938
  • 18K per Tola: Rs333,375

Note: Gold rates can change during the day and may vary slightly between dealers and cities.

The United Arab Emirates dirham remained relatively stable against the Pakistani rupee in the open market on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, amid routine fluctuations in the foreign exchange market. According to currency dealers, the UAE dirham continued trading within a narrow range in Pakistan’s open market, with slight differences observed in buying and selling rates among exchange companies. Market experts said the value of Gulf currencies, including the UAE dirham, is influenced by remittance inflows, foreign exchange reserves, international market trends, and local demand for foreign currency. Currency traders advised the public to check the latest exchange rates from authorized dealers before carrying out transactions, as rates may change during trading hours.
