The federal government has revised petroleum prices, increasing the price of petrol by Rs3.26 per litre while reducing high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.01 per litre.
Following the latest adjustment, petrol will now cost Rs390.66 per litre, up from Rs387.40. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced from Rs400.35 to Rs399.34 per litre.
According to the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices under the petroleum pricing mechanism notified by the federal government. The revised prices will take effect from October 2, 2026.
The Petroleum Division said the latest adjustment was prompted by developments in the international market, including changes in Platts rates, premiums and other incidentals. The latest revision comes a day after the government reduced petrol by Rs0.14 per litre to Rs387.40 and high-speed diesel by Rs1.89 to Rs400.35 per litre.
