ISLAMABAD: A Senate subcommittee reviewing the implementation of the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package has sought comprehensive details of a reported 5,000-job commitment, development projects, allocated funds and their utilization.
Subcommittee Convener Senator Jan Muhammad has directed the relevant authorities to present a comprehensive and verifiable report at the next meeting, covering the projects, release of funds, expenditures and progress on the ground.
The review aims to assess the implementation of commitments made under the package for Balochistan. The Senate’s Functional Committee on Problems of Less Developed Areas previously constituted a subcommittee under Senator Jan Muhammad Khan to examine the package’s implementation and recommend further action.
