Rockstar Games has revealed new details about the massive open world of *Grand Theft Auto VI*, suggesting the game’s map could be even larger than fans originally imagined.
In a new interview with *Edge* magazine, Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson showcased parts of the fictional state of Leonida, including Vice City and surrounding areas.
According to the preview, the playable landmass is nearly as large as the maps of *GTA 4*, *GTA 5*, and *Red Dead Redemption 2* combined.
Developers have also highlighted a major increase in explorable building interiors, allowing players to enter more homes and discover more detailed environments.
The game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026. Fans are now looking forward to exploring what could be Rockstar’s most detailed open world yet.
