The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has shared a step-by-step guide to help mobile and internet users resolve complaints related to poor network coverage, slow internet speed, call drops, billing issues and other telecom services. The initiative aims to make the complaint process easier and ensure that consumers know how to report problems to their service providers and the relevant authorities.
According to the guidance, customers should first contact their respective telecom operator through its helpline, website or customer service centre and register a complaint. Users should keep their complaint reference number and provide relevant details about the issue. If the problem remains unresolved, they can escalate the matter by submitting a complaint through the PTA’s official Complaint Management System.
The PTA has encouraged consumers to provide accurate information and follow up on their registered complaints to ensure timely resolution. The authority aims to improve consumer protection, service quality and accountability within Pakistan’s telecommunications sector.
