The federal government in Pakistan has decided to set aside Rs. 2.05 billion under PSDP to give 1,600 scholarships to people from Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
Its purpose is to give students from Kashmir the ability to study medicine, engineering and social sciences at different universities in Pakistan. Part of Pakistan’s efforts for the region’s youth is the provision of scholarships to build stronger ties with local education.
This action is viewed as showing Pakistan’s determination to boost the welfare and improvement of people in Jammu and Kashmir. Educational support from the government helps young people and aids in raising the local economy.
Scholarships are given to worthy students to cover their tuition, place to live and other expenses, so finances do not get in the way of their studies. It is scheduled to begin in the following academic session and the program details and how to apply will be released soon.
It highlights Pakistan’s view that education can strengthen people and reflects its continuous support for the community in Jammu and Kashmir.
