Meetings to focus on boosting ties and strategic cooperation
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday, June 12, 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen the longstanding ties between the two nations.
The visit underscores the deep-rooted fraternal relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, anchored in mutual trust, shared values, and multi-sectoral cooperation.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with key federal ministers and senior officials.
According to the Foreign Office, PM Shehbaz will engage in high-level meetings with the Emirati leadership, including a bilateral session with the UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The discussions are expected to cover a broad spectrum of topics including bilateral trade and investment, as well as pressing regional and global issues of shared concern.
The visit is poised to reinforce Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach in the Gulf region and explore new avenues for strategic and economic collaboration.
