The central launch ceremony of the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme Phase 4 is scheduled for July 25 at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad. The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, during a high-level committee meeting.
This meeting marked the third special committee session for the scheme, jointly chaired by Dr. Siddiqui and Rana Mashhood, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. Federal Minister for Public Affairs Rana Mubashir Iqbal and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar were also in attendance.
The committee reviewed the regional quota distribution and the process of application allocation in detail. It was also decided that a robust media awareness campaign will be launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which will lead the initiative.
Dr. Siddiqui emphasized that the laptop scheme is a key component of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision to empower youth through access to modern digital tools and promote national progress.
