Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has invited international partners to invest in Pakistan’s growing health sector, calling it full of opportunities. Speaking at the Boao Forum for Asia’s Global Health Forum in Beijing, he highlighted Pakistan’s potential in healthcare collaboration, innovation, and investment.

Kamal said Pakistan, with a population of 250 million, is ready for global health partnerships, especially in nursing, training, and digital healthcare reforms. He also spoke about the country’s new digital system for registering medical devices, launched recently by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which aims to speed up approvals within 20 days, according to Dawn News.

The minister noted that Pakistan can help address the global shortage of nurses and paramedics through training programs. He assured investors of strong returns, supportive regulations, and full government backing.

“Without health, the economy cannot progress,” Kamal added, stressing the need for a stronger healthcare system. He also pointed out Pakistan’s high fertility rate, disease burden, and ongoing fight against polio.
