An alert has been issued regarding the antibiotic Azomex 250mg, warning the public not to use the medicine under any circumstances and advising them to purchase medicines only from authorized medical stores and pharmacies.
According to details, the Directorate of Drugs Control of the Punjab Health Department has taken action against counterfeit medicines and declared a specific batch of Azomex 250mg as fake, issuing an immediate alert in this regard.
The alert stated that batch number H5332 of Azomex 250mg has been declared counterfeit. The batch has an expiry date of July 2027.
