The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a key member of an inter-provincial drug trafficking network during an intelligence-based operation.
According to an ANF spokesperson, the raid was conducted in Jamshoro to foil an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics from Quetta to Karachi. The suspect was taken into custody near Saeedabad Toll Plaza while traveling on a passenger bus.
During the search, officials recovered 69.6 kilograms of hashish concealed in three plastic cans. The arrested suspect was identified as Shahid Khan, a resident of Peshawar.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
