ISLAMABAD: Pakistan may once again consider importing crude oil from Iran following a temporary easing of certain U.S. sanctions, a development that could provide the country with an alternative energy source and help reduce its import costs. According to reports, the temporary relaxation of sanctions has renewed discussions over the feasibility of importing Iranian crude, particularly as Pakistan seeks affordable energy supplies to ease pressure on its economy.
