KARACHI — Police in Karachi have successfully apprehended a suspect in the act of sexually abusing a minor.
According to the spokesperson for the District City Police, the individual was arrested within the jurisdiction of Eidgah Police Station while allegedly committing an indecent act with a 12-year-old boy. The arrested suspect has been identified as Haider Ali.
Police officials reported that the suspect has confessed to the crime, stating his method was to lure children with the promise of gifts or treats to secluded locations where the abuse would take place.
The District City Police further stated that the suspect has admitted to perpetrating similar crimes against multiple children. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the accused, and further legal proceedings are underway.
