The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested five suspects allegedly involved in human organ smuggling during an operation in Islamabad. The five suspects include three foreign nationals. Various human organs and alleged human flesh were also recovered from a house.
The FIA conducted a major operation in Islamabad’s F-7/1 sector. According to sources, five suspects allegedly involved in human organ smuggling were apprehended. During the raid, various human organs and alleged human flesh were recovered from the house.
According to FIA sources, the recovered human organs have been taken into custody and sent for forensic examination. All suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation. Sources said that efforts are also underway to trace other possible facilitators of the alleged network.
It was also revealed that the suspects were allegedly processing human placenta illegally. The finished products were exported to Vietnam under the name “She Placenta.” All suspects have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
A case has been registered against the suspects under the Human Organs Transplantation Act 2010. According to FIA officials, the scope of the investigation has been expanded to include other possible individuals linked to the network and its overseas connections.
