BUREWALA – In flood-affected villages along the Sutlej River, theft incidents have begun as displaced residents struggle with losses.

According to reports, thieves using boats looted valuables worth millions from a landlord’s dera.

The stolen items included solar panels, an inverter, fans, and a water pump.

Residents said most families had already shifted to safer places due to flooding, leaving their homes and belongings vulnerable.

Police reached the site after the incident, while flood victims have urged the DPO Vehari to trace the culprits and prevent further robberies.
