Former Sri Lanka Test and One Day International cricketer DSD de Silva has passed away.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket, he represented the country in 12 Test matches and 41 ODIs. He was also a member of Sri Lanka’s first-ever Test team in 1982.
After retiring from playing cricket, DSD de Silva remained associated with the sport and served as Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket’s Interim Administration from 2009 to 2011.
