Four Important Medicines Declared Substandard, Ordered to Be Immediately Recalled from Market

According to a drug testing laboratory report, four important medicines have been declared substandard and adulterated and orders have been issued to immediately recall them from the market.

‎Authorities have instructed pharmacies, wholesalers and distributors to immediately stop the sale of these medicines.

‎The oral solution “Inda Save”, used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting, was declared unsafe due to an excessive amount of ethylene glycol.

‎The antibiotic injection “Suporex” was found adulterated and below standard according to the laboratory report.

‎The vitamin injection “Neucobal” did not meet quality standards and was declared substandard.

‎Similarly, the dexamethasone injection “Neudex” was also found adulterated and substandard. The government has ordered the mentioned batches to be immediately collected back from the market.
