Free Kidney Transplant Service Officially Launched at Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar

Free kidney transplant services have been officially launched at Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar, where the first successful kidney transplant operation has been performed.

‎According to the hospital administration, in the first successful transplant, one brother donated a kidney to his brother. Following the successful operation, both the donor and the patient remained in satisfactory condition and were discharged from the hospital and sent home.

‎The administration stated that the modern kidney transplant facility at Khyber Teaching Hospital will now be provided free of charge to patients, enabling deserving patients suffering from kidney diseases to receive better treatment facilities.
