Head Constable Martyred in Shah Latif Town Shooting; Sindh Home Minister Takes Notice

Karachi (Staff Reporter) – A head constable was martyred after unidentified assailants opened fire in the jurisdiction of Shah Latif Town Police Station. The tragic incident has sparked concern and unrest in the area, prompting an immediate police response and launch of investigations.

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar has taken strict notice of the incident and directed SSP Malir to provide a complete report of all initial police measures taken at the scene. He emphasized the importance of collecting forensic evidence and eyewitness testimonies to ensure a successful and swift investigation.

The Home Minister also instructed police officials to visit the home of the martyred constable and spend time with the bereaved family to offer support and solidarity.

Furthermore, Lanjar has requested detailed reports on suspects previously arrested in connection with police killings. He has ordered that the task of investigating this case and apprehending the culprits be assigned to a capable and experienced officer to ensure justice is served.
