KARACHI – The mysterious death of model and actress Humaira Asghar has taken a chilling new direction as investigative journalist Iqrar ul Hassan reveals further disturbing details in the ongoing case. According to fresh findings, it is now believed that Humaira may have passed away nearly nine months prior to her body being discovered in her Karachi apartment.
Post-mortem analysis confirmed advanced stages of decomposition, with body parts such as the skull base and knee joints severely decayed—areas typically among the last to deteriorate. Shockingly, one of her hands had detached, suggesting a much longer post-mortem interval than initially suspected.
Iqrar ul Hassan, who has been closely following the case, cited telecom data, neighbor statements, and police sources indicating that Humaira’s last known communication occurred in September 2024. Her participation in social events and phone activity abruptly ended around that time. Since then, no one from her professional circle, family, or social circle reached out or reported her missing.
Adding to the grim reality, the apartment’s electricity was disconnected, and all food items had expired by October last year, making survival in Karachi’s heat without utilities highly improbable beyond that point.
Despite the absence of drugs or toxic substances, the case has raised serious concerns over social neglect. Iqrar emphasized that this incident should not be dismissed as a simple case of unattended death. “Where were her friends, her colleagues? Why did no one notice?” he questioned in a recent update, demanding a thorough investigation.
The haunting discovery of Humaira’s body and the silence surrounding her disappearance highlight a deeper societal issue—the alarming isolation faced even by those in the limelight. Authorities have yet to release conclusive findings, but public pressure continues to grow for justice and accountability.
