JHANG – In a harrowing case of alleged honour killing, a young woman was brutally murdered by her brother in the Satellite Town area of Jhang after she reportedly refused a family-arranged marriage. The incident, partially captured in a disturbing video now circulating on social media, shows the accused confronting his sister at their residence before committing the fatal act.
According to police officials, the victim had defied traditional expectations by opposing a marriage proposal arranged by her relatives. Her rejection was reportedly deemed a “dishonour” by the family, prompting the accused to take matters into his own hands.
