Karachi is expected to experience extremely hot weather today (Friday), with temperatures likely to soar up to 41°C, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), as reported by ARY News.

The current temperature in the city stands at 32°C, with winds blowing at 15 kilometers per hour and humidity recorded at 62 percent. The heatwave continues to grip Karachi as residents endure persistently high mercury levels.

Meanwhile, the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) has issued an urgent advisory warning of multiple active weather systems expected to affect various parts of the country within the next 24 hours.

Islamabad and Rawalpindi are at particular risk, with forecasts predicting the merger of two systems that could bring strong winds and heavy rainfall tonight.

Severe weather, including hailstorms, windstorms, and intense rain, has also been forecast for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and parts of North and South Eastern Punjab.
