The medicine ward of the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) was completely destroyed in a fire incident.
According to the administration, the fire broke out at around 4 am. due to a short circuit. The medicine ward, located on the third floor, was immediately evacuated as soon as the fire erupted.
The NICH administration stated that no loss of life occurred in the incident; however, the fire caused heavy financial losses.
