The annual intermediate exams under the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) commenced today, with over 126,500 students set to appear in both morning and evening shifts.

The board has ensured that all necessary exam materials are being distributed to the 182 examination centers, including 36 highly sensitive centers. The morning shift runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Grade 11 students taking their Mathematics exam, while the evening shift, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, includes General Science papers.

Board officials, along with special security measures, have been put in place to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. Special vigilance teams have been formed, and strict measures are in place to prevent cheating. Complaints can be reported through designated cells at district deputy commissioner offices.

Results will be announced within two months after the exams conclude on May 29.
