The Neurosurgery Department of Lady Reading Hospital has achieved a new milestone by performing, for the first time, 15 successful brain artery surgeries using modern cameras and equipment.

‎According to the details, spokesperson Muhammad Asim said that various units of LRH played an important role in this mission through teamwork.

‎The successful brain artery surgeries were performed by Pakistani origin Dr. Aqeel Papani and the LRH neurosurgery team.

‎The spokesperson stated that Dr. Aqeel Papani, who came from the United States, personally bore expenses of more than ten million rupees, and all operations were carried out completely free of cost.

‎He further said that LRH Dean Professor Sahibzada Mahmood Noor and Hospital Director Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan provided full administrative support to ensure the success of the mission.
