Medical Student Dies After Alleged Suicide Attempt in Lahore

A 22-year-old student of Fatima Jinnah Medical University passed away on Tuesday night after an alleged suicide attempt, police confirmed.

According to SP Civil Lines Chaudhry Azar Ali, the student, identified as Fariha, was critically injured and shifted to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Police stated that the body has been transferred to the morgue for legal formalities. Investigators are examining evidence collected from the scene as part of an ongoing inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities said further details will emerge following completion of the investigation.
