KARACHI – Pakistani actress, TV host, and social activist Mishi Khan has made startling revelations about Halloween parties allegedly held in Karachi, igniting a heated debate across social media.
Known for speaking boldly on social and moral issues, Mishi Khan claimed that a particular Halloween party in Karachi allegedly invited members of the LGBTQ+ community along with their partners. She said she was informed that the event involved “open obscenity,” yet authorities took no action.
In a video statement, Mishi Khan remarked, “People may say I always preach, but I will not stop speaking the truth. It’s alarming that such parties are being organized openly without any restrictions.”
Her comments triggered mixed reactions online — while some users supported her stance, calling for strict regulation of such events, others criticized her for overreacting. One user wrote, “When will the authorities wake up?” while another said, “Astaghfirullah, this shouldn’t be celebrated.”
Mishi Khan’s statement has reignited discussion on the growing influence of Western traditions and the moral boundaries of social events in Pakistan.
