A special ward comprising 10 beds has been established in the Medical ICU of Jinnah Hospital. According to the hospital administration, this ward will be designated for suspected Monkeypox patients.
Similarly, an 8 bed special ward has also been set up at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, where suspected cases will be kept.
Special wards are also being established in other government hospitals across the city to deal with Monkeypox, so that any emergency situation can be handled effectively.
