Monkeypox Threat Looms in Karachi and Khairpur as Special Wards Set Up in Government Hospitals

A special ward comprising 10 beds has been established in the Medical ICU of Jinnah Hospital. According to the hospital administration, this ward will be designated for suspected Monkeypox patients.

‎Similarly, an 8 bed special ward has also been set up at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, where suspected cases will be kept.

‎Special wards are also being established in other government hospitals across the city to deal with Monkeypox, so that any emergency situation can be handled effectively.
