MULTAN: Customs Enforcement personnel, in collaboration with police and district administration, carried out a large-scale anti-smuggling operation in Multan’s grain market on Friday, seizing contraband worth millions of rupees.
According to customs officials, the confiscated items included imported cigarettes, Chinese salt, tobacco, chalia (areca nut), and dry milk. Over 17 trucks loaded with smuggled goods were taken into custody during the crackdown, while several arrests were also made.
