ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an online facility for citizens who need to obtain a Proof of Life certificate again.
According to NADRA, applicants can complete the required verification through the PakID mobile application if a Proof of Life certificate is needed again after one or six months.
Once the verification process is completed, a new Proof of Life certificate will be issued electronically.
The facility is aimed at making the process easier for citizens by eliminating the need to visit the relevant office in person.
NADRA said the newly issued certificate would be automatically submitted to the concerned pension-providing institution.
The authority has advised citizens to use the PakID mobile application to complete the verification process. Those requiring further assistance can contact NADRA’s helpline at 1777 or visit its official website.
