KARACHI, August 24, 2026: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index declining by 199.84 points, or 0.11%, to settle at 176,966.69.
According to PSX data, the index moved between an intraday high of 178,122.88 and a low of 176,735.57 during the trading session.
A total of 495 companies traded on the exchange. Of these, shares of 222 companies closed higher, while 241 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
Trading activity remained significant, with shares worth approximately Rs19.87 trillion changing hands, compared with around Rs19.88 trillion in the previous session.
