Polio virus has been detected in environmental samples collected from Lahore.
According to the head of the Anti Polio Program, a special 10 day anti polio campaign will begin in Lahore from November 3.
The head of the Anti Polio Program stated that the campaign will be conducted in 122 union councils of Lahore.
He further said that during the campaign, children aged between 4 months and 15 years will be administered the polio vaccine.
The program head also mentioned that during the three days of the campaign, polio vaccines will be administered to children up to 15 years of age in schools as well.
