Punjab Launches 80,000 Scholarships, 118,000 Laptops for Students

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Hunarmand (Merit) Scholarship and Laptop Scheme Phase-II, unveiling 80,000 scholarships and 118,000 Core i7 laptops for students across Pakistan

She assured that merit alone would decide selections, noting strong participation from KP and Balochistan, with over 27,000 applications already received.

The chief minister also announced 6,000 STEAM labs, Schools of Eminence, and Centers of Excellence, along with electric buses in Chakwal.

Maryam highlighted her personal political journey, stating that her struggles had deepened her commitment to youth empowerment and education.
