The Punjab government has launched a dedicated helpline for reporting missing facilities in public schools, as part of its province-wide education improvement initiative.

Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that data collection on schools lacking essential amenities and additional classrooms has been completed. He emphasized that all missing infrastructure will be provided in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The minister urged school heads and teachers to report any remaining deficiencies — such as missing classrooms, clean drinking water, boundary walls, or toilet blocks — through the Education Helpline at 0316-0261408.

Rana Sikandar Hayat reaffirmed the government’s resolve, stating, “As announced by Madam Chief Minister, we will ensure that 100 percent of missing facilities are provided across Punjab’s schools, Inshallah.”

According to the Education Department, the process of identifying schools that require development and improvement has already begun. The initiative aims to ensure safer, better-equipped learning environments for students, especially in rural and underprivileged areas.
