The Punjab government has taken strict notice after the annual examination results of around 30,000 students in government schools were not uploaded to the official online system despite multiple deadlines. The delay has raised concerns over incomplete examination records and potential problems for affected students.
The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has sought explanations from the schools responsible for failing to submit results on time. In Lahore, several government school heads were also found to have missed the deadline for providing examination records and answer sheets.
According to reports, schools in areas including Karbath, Ghaziabad, Lidhar, Charrar Pind, R.A. Bazaar, Walton, Ghawind, and Customs Colony were among those identified for non-compliance. Authorities have attributed the delay to administrative negligence and poor management of examination data.
The School Education Department has directed the concerned institutions to immediately resubmit the missing results and complete the online upload process. Officials have warned that strict administrative action will be taken against school heads and staff who fail to comply with the instructions.
Education authorities say timely publication of results is essential to ensure smooth student promotion, admissions, and academic planning for the new school year.
