The government of Punjab has scheduled a scholarship scheme to develop the education of the employees children at the COMSATS University in order to develop equality towards higher education.

The students belonging to the labor families who are eligible under the initiative will be fully funded both in terms of funding the tuition fee as well as the hostel fee and other academic fee. The program aims at empowering the disadvantaged groups by ensuring their children access quality education on science, technology and engineering courses.

The authorities underlined this measure as an extension of the social welfare policy in Punjab to narrow the inequality gap and promote academic results of promising students.

The interviews will commence shortly with the scholarships to be awarded meritoriously and need-based.
