DUBAI: Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has stormed into the ICC T20I top-five rankings after a series of explosive performances in the ongoing tri-series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Farhan, currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament, has smashed 159 runs in three innings at a remarkable average of 79.50 and a strike rate of 157.42, including two impressive half-centuries. His consistency has earned him 776 rating points, lifting him eight spots to fourth in the world.
Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam also climbed the rankings, rising five places to 29th after scoring 90 runs in the series with a strike rate of 116.88, taking his tally to 572 rating points.
