School of Contemporary and Islamic Learning has come under criticism after allegations surfaced that the institution continued conducting examinations despite the announcement of summer holidays in several regions due to extreme heat conditions.

According to parents and students, examination schedules were allegedly maintained during the vacation period, forcing students to attend campus amid intense temperatures. Families expressed concerns over student safety, health risks, and academic pressure, particularly as many educational institutions across the country had already suspended regular classes because of the ongoing heatwave.

Several parents claimed that students were left with little choice but to appear for exams to avoid academic penalties or delays in results. Some also questioned why assessments could not be postponed or shifted online considering the severe weather conditions affecting many cities.

The issue has sparked debate on social media, where users criticized educational institutions for prioritizing academic schedules over student well-being. Many demanded clear guidelines from education authorities regarding examinations during officially announced holidays and extreme weather emergencies.

Students also reported difficulties in commuting during daytime hours due to scorching temperatures and transport challenges. Parents urged the administration to reconsider the examination schedule and ensure safer arrangements for students.

Education observers noted that while schools often try to complete academic calendars before the new session begins, institutions must also balance academic requirements with student health and safety concerns during severe climate conditions.

So far, no detailed public response has been issued by the school administration regarding the allegations. However, the controversy has intensified discussions about heat safety measures and emergency academic policies in educational institutions across Pakistan.
