KARACHI — A spokesperson for the Sindh Education Department has confirmed that the online admissions portal operated by the Sindh College Education Department is functioning normally, putting to rest any concerns regarding technical issues. Eligible students across the province can continue to seamlessly submit their intermediate college admission applications through the Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admissions Program (SECCAP) platform.
In an official statement, the department highlighted that the online admissions infrastructure has undergone comprehensive technical upgrades and enhancements. These system improvements ensure that the application platform operates smoothly, allowing candidates to complete and submit their admission forms easily and without any disruption during the peak enrollment cycle.
This technological push aligns with a broader shift toward modernization within the province’s academic governance. Sindh’s Education Ministry recently digitized the entire transfer process for teachers and administrative staff through the implementation of a new e-transfer system. Following directives from Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, the provincial ministry overhauled the conventional manual application setup, replacing it with an automated web-based framework to increase structural transparency and eliminate bureaucratic delays.
