As millions of Americans hit the roads and skies for the holiday, the weather is giving some serious travel warnings. The Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region could see several inches of snow and high winds, with “white-out” conditions possible in some spots.
The Pacific Northwest has its own troubles: heavy rain, mountain snow and downhill slick spots as a so-called atmospheric-river system moves in.
