Total Dengue Cases in Rawalpindi Reach 34 in 2025

The total number of confirmed dengue cases in Rawalpindi has reached 34 so far in 2025.

‎According to details, 4,076 individuals have been screened this year, out of which 34 cases have been confirmed. A total of 222 dengue patients have been admitted and discharged from hospitals, while 8 are currently undergoing treatment. No dengue-related deaths have been reported so far.

‎In Rawalpindi, 17,528 dengue hotspots have been registered, with 97.93% of them receiving proper coverage.

‎Twelve union councils in the city have been identified as high-risk zones for dengue. So far in 2025, authorities have discovered 56,162 dengue larvae and recorded positive findings at 9,880 locations.

‎In response to violations of dengue SOPs, authorities have filed 1,743 FIRs, issued 3,276 challans (fines), and sealed 238 premises.

‎Additionally, 294 outdoor teams and 889 indoor teams are actively working on dengue prevention efforts. For fumigation operations, 717 IRS pumps, 89 handheld fogging machines, and 40 vehicle-mounted foggers are currently operational.
