University of Health Sciences has announced plans to launch five new PhD programs as part of its efforts to expand advanced research and higher education opportunities in the health sciences sector.

According to university officials, the new doctoral programs will focus on emerging fields of medical and health research, providing students and researchers with greater opportunities to contribute to scientific innovation and healthcare development. The initiative aims to strengthen research capacity and address evolving challenges in medicine and public health.

UHS stated that the programs will be supported by qualified faculty members, modern research facilities, and collaborations with national and international academic institutions. The university expects the expansion to help produce highly skilled researchers capable of advancing evidence-based healthcare practices.

The move reflects the growing demand for specialized postgraduate education and research in Pakistan’s healthcare sector, while supporting the country’s broader goals of scientific and academic development.
