Pakistan Army and police conducted a successful joint search and targeted operation against militants in the Hovid area of Bannu, detaining several individuals and demolishing the houses of two local facilitators.
The operation, carried out on the basis of secret intelligence and surveillance reports, aimed to rid the area of terrorism and ensure lasting peace and security. Security forces cordoned off the locality, conducted a thorough search, and took multiple suspects into custody.
During the operation, the houses of two individuals identified as local facilitators for militants were demolished. Residents of the area hailed the security forces’ efforts, terming the operation a vital step towards public safety, and expressed their full support for the campaign.
The Pakistan Army and police reiterated their resolve to eliminate terrorism and restore permanent peace in the region.
