Earthquake Tremors Jolt Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Northern Regions

Islamabad: Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and several adjoining cities on Wednesday morning, creating panic among residents.

According to details, the earthquake struck at 10:20 AM and was also felt in Swat, Chitral and Abbottabad. Frightened people rushed out of their homes and offices, reciting prayers as the ground shook.

The Seismological Center confirmed that the earthquake measured 5.2 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 190 kilometers. The epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

So far, no casualties or property damage have been reported. However, authorities have advised citizens to remain cautious and avoid staying inside vulnerable buildings for long durations.
