Azad Kashmir Police have arrested a man on charges of providing sensitive information to India’s intelligence agency RAW.
According to officials, a young man from Rawalakot, identified as Ubaid Jahangir, was accused of sharing the GPS location of Bilal Mosque in Nala Shawai through WhatsApp. A case has been registered at the Saddar Police Station under sections of the Official Secrets Act.
Police said the suspect belongs to the Khai Gulla area of Rawalakot. Earlier, on May 6, India reportedly fired a missile at Bilal Mosque in Muzaffarabad, causing significant damage and heightening regional tensions.
